VITAMIX! May 11, 2012

The Vitamix. I would say that if my entire kitchen somehow burnt down because I used the oven for storage and my fiancé turned it on again, The Vitamix is the one appliance in the kitchen i would try to save.

I would have to say that this is the must have for any healthy kitchen. I can safely say that i use mine over 4 times per day.

Starting your morning with a green smoothie is one of the most amazing things you could do for your body. I used to start mine with a cup of coffee. For the past 3 years i have started it off with an energy packed, nutrient dense smoothie, much like the ones i post on this website. Getting Greens into your diet in liquid form like this is incredibly beneficial. When greens and super foods are broken down before they enter your body, it allows your digestive system to take a break. No hard work is being done. After it passes through your stomach, it can enter your small intestine for immediate and full nutrient absorption. No stress or strain is made. This is so vital for ultimate absorption and health!

Some of the most healthy desserts, soups, and sauces can be made. Most all of the recipes on this website require the use of this machine. I would say it is the best for anyone who wants to get healthy, be healthy, or simply lose weight. It is impossible to be unhealthy with this machine in your kitchen!

If you have a Vitamix, and are looking to do a smoothie fast for speedy weightless or ultimate deep body cleansing, contact me and we can set up your own personalized detoxification program!

If you need a Vitamix, visit the website HERE. Just for visiting through my site you will receive a $25 coupon code!

Now is the time to do some spring cleaning, start it off with the best smoothies ever!

Almond butter is incredibly easy to make and tastes way better than store bought! I use my vitamix to make it, but you can also use a food processor!

What you will need:
-at least 3 cups of raw almonds (sprouted and dehydrated)
-cinnamon to taste
-salt to taste (if you sprout in sea salt water like me you will need less)

Put the dry almonds in the vitamix or food processor on highest setting. It is important when using the vitamix that you do not let the blade free spin so be sure to use the jabber to push down the almonds as they grind. The almonds will start to heat in both machines from friction so be sure to give frequent breaks for cooling. When almonds begin to get pastey add in cinnamon and salt. Continue to grind until butter is formed. It will take up to a total of 15 minutes of blend time before butter is formed. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. You will never buy another jar at the store again!

So my vitamix has arrived today!  I am so excited, my RAW kitchen is complete! What is a Vitamix you ask? Only the best blender in the world! This blender makes it possible for raw foodies to eat hot things like soups and sauces and instantly make ice creams! its truly incredible.

The way the blade tears appart the fibers of the fruits and vegetables allows you to get the most out of your food. you can add fruits and vegetables whole.. yes, seeds, skins, cores, everything. This way you wont miss out on any nutrients!

How does it heat without cooking? The crazy super fast moving blades create friction, causing it to heat! This is perfect for the warm food lovers who are scared to go raw in fear of loosing their soups and sauces. You do have to be careful, because if you let it run long enough it will boil, and the food will be cooked.

Your probably wondering how something that heats something can make it frozen too. Well, using different speeds at certain times causes the blade to react differently with the food. you will also be using frozen fruits to make ice cream, and it will be the freshest ice cream you ever taste!

Im so excited! Tonight I am going to make soup and ice cream, just to try both functions!
